Chabad of NW Metro Denver’s first Sukkah Hop Bike Ride took place on Sunday October 16.
Fourteen people came into Westminster from as far away as Idaho Springs to participate in this first of its kind event with kids as young as twelve joining for the 35 mile bike ride.
The Sukkah Hop BikeRide is a novel variation of the popular custom of visiting local sukkot.
The ride began at Chabad of NW Metro Denver’s sukkah in Westminster, where the riders had a chance to bless the lulov and esrog and enjoy some refreshments in the sukkah before setting out.
Bikers stopped off for refreshments at sukkot at Chabad of CU at the Norlin Quad in Boulder and at the homes of Eli and Sylvia Block in Superior and the Victors in Louisville.
