Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) announced today that the much-anticipated job fair which had been canceled due to inclement weather has been re-scheduled for Thursday, February 17. Held in conjunction with the Orthodox Union Job Board, the event will now take place at Sasson v’ Simcha Hall located at 1223 Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn to accommodate more job applicants and employers. The fair will be held from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
“People were terribly disappointed when last week’s snowstorm forced us to cancel the job fair,” Hikind said. “I felt we owed it to all the people who are seeking employment to still host this vitally important event.”
