by Artist Mordechai Rosenstein
This artwork is full of symbols illustrating the famous Aishes Chayil passages from Proverbs. The letters of ‘Aishes’ compose a crown that surmounts the design, attesting to the regal quality of a ‘Woman of Valor.’ The lamp of learning refers to the instruction given to a child by the mother in the very early stages of life and continues until adulthood. A string of pearls, each bearing a letter of the alphabet, refers to the 22 verses which make up the praise of womanhood as found in Proverbs.
All serigraphs are signed and numbered by the artist. Print comes double-matted, and framed in a gold-tone metal frame.
Prints are available with a presentation plate engraved on brass and inserted in the mat. To order this along with your print click here.
